File Upload Element in Forms and Surveys

When onboarding or qualifying customers, you will usually need a bunch of details, from ID photos to bank statements, credit scores, or anything in between. The best way to get them is in the form of a file. You can collect these files in many ways, but one of the most efficient is requesting it in a form or survey. 

Does this sound like something you need? Let's check the File Upload element, which allows for easy file collection in the comfort of your forms and surveys.

How To Use This Element?

Access your Form or Survey builder tab.

Create or edit a form/survey.

Click the plus sign icon to view the elements and look for the File Upload element.

Drag and drop it into place.

 

Inside the settings, change the label. This is shown to customers, so add a name that's easy to follow.

Open the Advanced Settings and change the Custom Field Name. This will be used to locate the field when needed.

Switch to the Upload Options tab and check the box next to the allowed file types. 

📌Note: The “All” option is selected by default.

Toggle "Allow Multiple Files" on if necessary.

When allowing multiple files, add a Max File Limit

Save your changes with the button at the top right corner.

Once you start getting responses, you can find the attached files in the contact information and the Form/Survey submission. Leading to a simple and organized process for customers to provide you with all the needed details in the format of your choice.
